As a spin-off of SpotOn International Group, PRIMO offers an enterprise loyalty platform, focus on Retail, FMCG, and Financial Industries. 2016 - 2017
Primo World Co., Ltd. was established on August 22, 2016 by Mr. Vee Sirasoontorn and Mr. Pawin Suthapong, close friends whom they had known each other while studying for Master's degree in Business Administration in Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management (MIT), USA. After graduated, Mr. Vee returned to Thailand for working the scholarship use while Mr. Pawin was starting his own business as SpotOn Inter Co., Ltd. and SpotOn Laboratories Co., Ltd.
Due to having and sharing same business ideas and goals, both established Primo World Co., Ltd., registered capital of 1,000,000 baht and started business with only 4 employees, with the aim of developing an Omnichannel marketing platform for organizations and large enterprises.
PRIMO received funding from the TED Fund (Batch 2) project and received a pre-seed investment on November 1, 2018, from SOSV, one of the world's top 5 venture capital firms from the United States, and from Infinity Technologies Pte. Ltd., an Angel Investor from Israel.
2019
PRIMO acquired SpotOn Laboratories Co., Ltd. on December 9, 2019 to increase platform development potential, resulting in Primo World Co., Ltd. holding 99.99% of the total shares of SpotOn Laboratories Co., Ltd.
2020
PRIMO received the Achievement Award from the National Innovation Agency and is committed to improving the organization and the platform's capabilities and designing new products regularly during the COVID-19 crisis. The company continues to grow exponentially, both in terms of the number of customers, revenue, as well as the number of employees.
2021
PRIMO received a pre-Series A investment on November 15, 2021, from Fuchsia Venture Capital (Fuchsia VC), a member of Muang Thai Group Holding, and Beacon Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (Beacon VC), Kasikorn Bank's joint venture. Investors in the past pre-seed round also participated in this round of investment.
2022
PRIMO was certified ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System-ISMS) by the British Standard Institution (BSI) on June 22, 2022, which shows the ability for data management and security according to international standards and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
